I love making clothes for maternity and all the time I just keep thinking of different sewing techniques to come up with something comfortable for maternity.
And just while making something one day, it struck me that adding pleats and gathers to any clothing makes it perfect as a maternity wear as it not only gives all the fullness needed for a pattern but most importantly it maintains its shape even after maternity...it may seem something very simple but yes I would say "Pleats and Gathers" are the magic mantra of maternity clothing..
So here I present my Teal Aztec maternity shirt. I have pleats to under bust seams which opens up and gives your growing belly all the space it needs :) And you would be able to wear it comfortably even after maternity..isn't that great!!!
And not just that, I added buttons to this shirt so this will also become your nursing shirt
You can wear them with jeans or leggings and this will be a perfect Friday wear or even week day office wear. So now feel fashionable even during pregnancy.

To make this shirt I have used a lovely Teal Aztec pattern in 100% mulmul cotton which is very soft and it gets softer with each wash.
I have the same fabric available in many other colors so during checkout just choose the color you want this robe in. The color swatches are shown in the last picture.
